As with the installation
of ground beam formers, methods vary.
Corriform, using information taken from the project drawings,
will design the pile cap former giving the best option relative
to the dimensions and complexity of the foundation layout.
When this has been considered the former must be designed to
give optimum material usage for Corriform plus the most
effective assembly method for the contractor.
The two aforementioned methods of installation are much along
the same lines as ground beam installation methods with much
the same preparation.
The benefits of the out of the 'out of the ground' prefabrication
method, is that it enables shuttering to be progressing whilst
digging or ground problems are overcome.
Corriform offers concrete pad construction where no heavy
reinforcement steel is involved. An internal support frame enabling
internal support, is fabricated in lightweight steel to support
the prefabricated shutter. Where small pads in the region of
300mm x 300mm x 300mm can offer concrete containment without
too much concrete loss.
