This material selection
process is a general 'rule of thumb' guide and must in all instances
be accompanied by good on-site practise.
| Corriform would in all
cases advocate using the highest grade material possible
plus ultra care in on-site installation, enabling the
recommended concrete cover to the reinforcement steel
to be maintained in all instances. Good on-site practise
is always of the highest importance. |
The Corriform grade will have been selected when construction
drawings were processed and calculated by the following general
criteria:

CF20 has
been used up to 3000mm
in height. Correct spacer selection and positioning is
important.

CF18 can be used up to 1000mm
in height, support is important.

CF15 can be used up to 750mm
in height, again support is important.

CF11 used as a base material and up to
300mm in height on tie beams and shallow formers. |
