Material Selection Process

This material selection process is a general 'rule of thumb' guide and must in all instances be accompanied by good on-site practise.

Corriform would in all cases advocate using the highest grade material possible plus ultra care in on-site installation, enabling the recommended concrete cover to the reinforcement steel to be maintained in all instances. Good on-site practise is always of the highest importance.

The Corriform grade will have been selected when construction drawings were processed and calculated by the following general criteria:

Site conditions
Shutter Type
Shutter Height

CF20 has been used up to 3000mm
in height. Correct spacer selection and positioning is important.

CF18 can be used up to 1000mm
in height, support is important.

CF15 can be used up to 750mm
in height, again support is important.

CF11 used as a base material and up to
300mm in height on tie beams and shallow formers.
